Ambassadors FC played their final hand last night with a 2 -1 win away to Goodyear. The home side took an early lead when the Ambassadors players failed to clear a free kick, the ball bobbled about before being poked across the line. Ambassadors created a number of chances before Brian Chud added two more goals to his tally with a brace just before half time. The second half was a bit poor with the only highlight being a good save from Alan Cooke to keep the scores at 2 – 1. In promotion terms, Ambassadors FC have now done all they can do, they will await results from other teams around them in the coming days.
